Mary Ann Gove, 88, Linn, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Westphalia Hills in Westphalia.
She was born Feb. 10, 1936, to the late Frank and Cecilia (Samson) Branson in Osage County.
She was a 1954 graduate of Linn High School.
Mary Ann was united in marriage to Ralph Gove July 7, 1956, in Linn.
She was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church in Judge.
Mary Ann enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, canning, camping, fishing, and talking on the phone. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by parents, Frank and Cecilia; and sister, Doris Drusch.
She is survived by husband of 67 years, Ralph; sons, Howard Gove and wife Kathy of Linn and Arnold Gove and friend Valerie Cox of Lake Ozark; grandchildren, Stacie Ortmeyer and husband Justin, Kellie Stroupe and husband Joey and Tyler Gove; great- grandchildren, Pyrce and Sabina Ortmeyer and Hendrix and Joplin Stroupe; brother, Wilfred Branson of Varshall; sisters, Shirley Bonnot of Loose Creek, Fern Hake and husband Walter of Holts Summit and Bonnie Wagner and husband Rob of Westphalia; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral service was held Tuesday, April 30, at Morton Chapel in Linn. Interment was in the Linn Public Cemetery.
Memorial contributions suggested to Solid Rock Baptist Church in Judge.
