Carl Edward Baclesse, 69, Linn, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2024, at his residence.
He was born Feb. 6, 1955, to the late Dale “Buster” and Grace (Englebrecht) Baclesse in Jefferson City.
He was a 1974 graduate of Linn High School and attended Technical College of Missouri in Linn.
Carl was united in marriage to Janelle Wiegers Oct. 29, 1988, in Freeburg.
He was the owner/operator of B & C Processing for over 25 years and also worked in construction.
Carl was a member of the Freedom Road Riders and enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting and biking.
He was preceded in death by parents, Dale and Grace; sister, Cheryl Baclesse; and father and mother-in-law, Mary and Fred Wiegers.
Carl is survived by wife of 35 years, Janelle; brother, Denny Baclesse of Taos; brothers-in-law, Jim and John Wiegers, both of Freeburg; step-father, Robert “ Bob” Crowe of Linn; constant companion, Ruckus; as well as nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great- nephews, cousins and many friends.
Funeral Services were held Tuesday, June 18, at Morton Chapel in Linn with Chaplin Scott Barton officiating. Interment was in the Linn Public Cemetery.
Memorial contributions suggested to American Cancer Society or B.A.C.A. (Bikers Against Child Abuse).
