Esther Lucille Pigg, 80, St. Louis County, MO, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Union Care Center in Union.
She was born Nov. 9, 1943, to Fred Franklin and Ollie (Price) Poetting in Owensville.
She was preceded in death by parents, Fred and Ollie; and siblings, Henry Doermann, Tommy Doermann, Helen Poetting, Joyce Poetting and Lois Eikermann.
Esther is survived by daughters, Sherry Gutermuth of Chamois, Mary Terzich of St. Louis and Stacie Maxey of Union; siblings, Lonnie Poetting of Henderson, Tenn., Rae Jean Amptmann of St. Louis and Bonnie Thompson of Owensville; and eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held June 28 at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville, with Rev. Kevin Sullivan officiating.
Interment was in St. James United Church of Christ Cemetery in Charlotte.
