Jim “Huck” Stratman, 83, Vienna, passed away June 25, 2024, at his residence in Vienna.
He was born March 9, 1941, to the late John Frank and Bertha Martha (Bauer) Stratman in Maries County.
He was united in marriage to Rosemary Mueller Feb. 28, 1976, in Vienna.
Jim was employed with Herb Stratman Construction for all his working life.
He was preceded in death by parents, John and Bertha; brothers, Raymond, Edward, Jerome “Jerry”, John Henry, Charlie, Herbert and Harold; and sisters, Rita Stratman, Mary McKinnon and Viola Chambers.
Jim is survived by wife, Rosemary of Vienna; children, Jimmy John Stratman and wife Lisa of Vienna, Victoria (Vicky) Stratman and friend Steve of Union, Brenda Imhoff and family and Linda Valvo and family; sister, Irene Kampeter of Florissant; five grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Funeral services were held July 2, in the Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home in Vienna with Rev. Basil Tigga officiating.
Interment was in the Visitation Catholic Cemetery in Vienna.
